Meet the Family!
Our story began in the early 1900s, when Grandpa Weijohn moved to the Yakima Valley and started a heritage of farming. Three generations later, we are still farming and upholding Grandpa's principles and values.
Though we have been farming for three generations, bluberries became an important part of our farm about 15 years ago. We choose to plant blueberries so our boys could gain valuable work experience. We also strongly believe in Christian education and growing blueberries provided the boys with the opportunity to raise money for school. We originally started with about 7 acres of blueberries, but currently, we have 20 acres. 

The inspiration for Sorbatto came from a tradition of preserving and canning fruit. After growing blueberries, we started to experiment with different ways of using blueberries, and Sorbatto was born. Mrs. Weijohn is a nutritionist and the family believes in providing healthy alternatuves to our customers. We kept this health mentaliity in mind when developming the various Frosty Blue flavors.
Social responsibility: Food bank, training youth, no GMO for society to consume to encourage health rather then discourgae health.
